Visit to the Black Country

Thirty students transferring to Shireland Language College from our local family of primary schools attended a two week Gifted and Talented Summer School. As part of the Summer School students created a two minute documentary on the History of the Black Country using iMovie. Following some intensive storyboarding on day one and a visit to the Black Country Museum on the second day, students worked extremely hard to complete their films. In order to put the finishing touches to the impressive films students attended workshops at the CLC to finish them off so that they could be entered for the Becta Creativity in Digital Media Award. We are awaiting the outcome!
