Shireland CLC has won an ICT Register Showcase Award for Innovation.
Back in November 2009, we were nominated for the ICT Register Award.
The winners of the ICT Register Showcase Awards were announced on the 15th March at an evening awards dinner at Burleigh Court in Loughborough.
The staff at the City Learning Centre are extremely pleased at winning the award are looking forward to hosting a celebratory event during the summer term to showcase the work that we have been doing.

The Bett Show 2010 - A Great Success
The BETT Bus left from the TDC Thursday morning despite the adverse weather conditions.
The BETT Show did not disappoint with hundreds of stands and thousands of different pieces of software for us all to look at. The Sandwell CLC staff were impressed by all the 3D technology on display, including a new 3D monitor which you don't need glasses for. Also the Sandwell CLC staff were impressed with the early versions of Sharepoint 2010 which is likely to be the back bone of the future learning platforms.
A big thank you to everyone who braved the weather and came along. We hope that you enjoyed yourself and found the trip worthwhile. We hope to see you all again next year.
